How long will my first appointment take?
Depending on the location and complexity of your injury, your first evaluation appointment can take anywhere from 60 - 90 minutes. Follow-up visits usually take up to 1½ hours.

What should I bring and what type of clothing should I wear?
For your first visit, we need a copy of your insurance card, driver's license, physician's prescription, motor vehicle accident reference number (if applicable) and any documentation from Labor and Industries (if applicable). Depending on where your injury is, it is usually a good idea to bring a comfortable t-shirt, shorts, and athletic or running shoes.

Do I need to bill my insurance or can I pay cash?
You do not need to bill your insurance. Some patients run out of visits or have a high deductable and choose to pay cash rather than deal with the insurance company. Cash patients get a discount! Direct payment saves us costs and we are happy to pass that savings on to you. Please call for details.

How many times a week should I come?
This is up to your therapist and depends on your personalized treatment plan. Most of the time, at the beginning of your program, coming in once or twice a week is recommended. In some special cases patients do come more or less frequently.

Where do I park?
Ballard Clinic: We have free on-site parking available, as well as free two-hour parking along the south side of 54th Street and 17th Avenue (it is sometimes best to come early to find free street parking if your appointment is during a busy part of the day and our lot is full).

Northgate OPMC Clinic: We have a large paid on-site parking lot available (unfortunately we are unable to verify or provide compensation for parking) as well as free street parking along Meridian Avenue and 105th Street.
